|Duties:||Description of Duties: |
Working at the direction of a manager, receives and tracks information from various sources, and enters this information into a computerized tracking/case management system. Reviews data to ensure accuracy. Enters data to update records following required codes and standards. Receives and responds to inquiries from EPA including for environmental enforcement cases, Freedom of Information Act requests, Congressional inquiries, Government Accountability Office Inquiries, Administrative Record generation and other special collections. Accesses files through various computerized data systems. Indexes/codes data and enters data into the computer system and generates electronic or print copies for review. Prepares documents for scanning and scans documents for conversion into electronic image format. Quality checks images and coded information. Generates document collections in paper and/or electronic format and burns collections to CD or DVD, quality checking all work products. Provides clerical and administrative support as necessary. Performs quality control checks on data and corrects erroneous information in accordance with established procedures. Prepares reports to supervision on data entry and data changes as required. Follows procedures for handling and maintaining evidence and chain of custody records. Training will be provided
|Qualifications:||Qualifications and Experience: |
High School degree with two years experience in records management, litigation support or related administrative/clerical field. One year environmental experience desired.
Detail oriented and well organized
Able to succeed in a team environment
High level of computer proficiency including databases and Microsoft Office Suite
Able to follow standard operating procedures
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
